Well, for the first time in my life we had snow on Christmas!  We couldn't pass up the opportunity to make snow ice cream.  It is a favorite around our house and we make it every time it snows.
Snow Ice Cream
1 gallon of fresh snow
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of milk
1 tbsp of vanilla
Mix all ingredients except the snow until blended and then add the snow.  Stir until well mixed. Eat quickly!

Even little Darla wanted to try snow ice cream!

I am all about easy these days.  I have so much I want to do and not enough time to get it all in .  Well, one of my favorite things is store bought cookie mixes.  They make everything quick and easy.  Here are a few we made in just a snap.

Peppermint Sugar Cookies
Roll into balls and bake.  Press peppermint kiss into the middle when you take them out of the oven.

"Ginchy" Sugar Cookies
We rolled out balls and dropped them into green sugar.  We tried to put a little heart on them like the Grinch, but next time I will use larger red hearts.

Snickerdoodles
Simply roll balls and drop each into a cinnamon sugar mixture. EASY!
